Fargo Way

Wells Fargo, founded in 1852 by Henry Wells
and William Fargo, first originated as a bank.
After purchasing Pony Express and the Holladay
Overland Stage Company, it's fame came from
the Wells Fargo Stage Routes popularized in
so many western movies. With the emergence
of the transcontinental railroad, the stage routes
lost out to the faster locomotives.
